Gresham woman dies from gunshot wound suffered during argument over loud music
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Susan Henson, the Gresham woman who was shot in the head in her apartment complex parking lot on Dec. 10 during an argument about loud music, has died, authorities say.
Twenty-six-year-old suspect Kuian Kellum, who was arrested for attempted murder following the shooting, is expected to face additional charges related to Henson’s death, the Gresham Police Department said.
The shooting occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. after Henson and her boyfriend approached a couple about loud music coming from the parking lot. Henson’s boyfriend allegedly pepper sprayed Kellum during the argument. Kellum responded by firing his gun at the couple three times. One of the bullets struck Henson in the head, court documents state.
Henson suffered critical injuries in the shooting and was taken to the hospital, where she ultimately died. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Gresham Police Department.
