Officer struck by car while issuing summons: NYPD
BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- A police officer was struck by a vehicle while issuing a summons Sunday evening, according to the NYPD.
The incident happened around 5:58 p.m. near 1282 Fulton Street.
Police say the officer was issuing a summons when the suspect got in their vehicle and fled the scene. The officer was struck and sustained pain in the leg. The officer was taken to a local hospital.
Investigations are ongoing. Police say no arrests have been made.
