Chris Rock Addressed Donald Trump's Presidency During 'SNL' Opening Monologue
Chris Rock shared his thoughts about current events while delivering his opening monologue during the December 14 episode of Saturday Night Live.
The 59-year-old comedian is hosting the show. To kick things off, he addressed everything from the allegations against Diddy and Jake Paul and Mike Tyson‘s fight to Luigi Mangione. He then shifted his focus to Donald Trump‘s presidency.

“It’s been a bad year for my people. Blacks,” he said, citing Kamala Harris‘ election loss and Mike‘s fight with Jake.
He added that he “hated” Jake, saying, “Who’s he gonna fight next? Morgan Freeman?”
On the topic of fears about Donald returning to office, he pointed out that we’ve had some bad presidents in the past.
“I mean, you know what country we live in,” he joked.
However, he did imagine how Donald‘s immigration policies would play out.
“J.Lo‘s gonna marry Ben again, just so she can stay in the country,” he said, clarifying that he knew she wasn’t Mexican, “but Trump don’t know that.”
Chris will be joined by musical guest Gracie Abrams. It marks her first time performing on the show!
