Jennifer Garner Pays Homage To the 60s in Retro-Inspired SeaVees Royal Runner Sneakers in Los Angeles
Jennifer Garner was spotted out in Los Angeles yesterday clad in cozy attire.
The “Elektra” star was on the go in a pair of comfy SeaVees sneakers in white. Retailing for $100 via the brand’s website, Garner’s Royal Runner kicks featured a mix of recycled nylon and suede uppers accompanied by polyester lace-up closures and heritage webbing on the sides that pay homage to the original SeaVees shoes of the ’60s. Cushy memory foam footbeds acted to cradle the thespian’s feet while sawtooth outsole added extra traction.
Finally, EVA midsoles offered the silhouette a subtle bounce. The sporty sneaker is made to mimic the look of retro styles that came before it. All components of the shoe, beyond the lining, are made of recycled materials. Each sale of the sneaker, and SeaVees products like it, go towards supporting Leather Working Group certified tanneries.
If the cream-colored hue isn’t your thing, the Garner-certified pick also comes in “Black,” “Capers,” “Blue” and “Strawberry” colorways. The actress loves sporty and colorful sneakers much like these. Garner has shifted towards more relaxed silhouettes within the last few years, making sneakers a major part of her footwear game.
Keeping up the cushy vibes, the “Juno” actress wore a forest green crewneck sweater in a baggy style partnered with classic blue jeans. As for accessories, Garner carried a large black leather shoulder bag worn with thick black sunglasses.
On the shoe front, the “Adam Project” actress often gravitates toward chunky athletic sneakers that are ideal for school pickups or running. These sneakers hail from high-end and affordable brands such as Brooks, Newton, Glycerin, The Row, Isabel Marant, Chloe and Nike. On the flip side, contemporary footwear styles from high-fashion brands have also entered her rotation, including Brunello Cucinelli, Chloé and Prada. These high-end styles include preppy oxfords, sandals and boots.
