It is time Prince Andrew coughed up & told us where he is getting his money from
IT is reported the Keeper of the Privy Purse approved the source of the money that enables Andrew to stay in Royal Lodge as legitimate.
Clearly, if it came from Chinese sources, it is anything but.
It is also reported the King bailed him out.
But this has been rubbished.
The Duke of York would be wise to be totally transparent about his finances and tell us where he is getting the money from.
Otherwise speculation will continue to hover over him like a bad smell — unless he comes clean.
His best bet would be to move from Royal Lodge and downsize to Prince Harry’s former home Frogmore Cottage — also at Windsor — as a long term solution.
After all, his daughters Beatrice and Eugenie are married with families of their own.
So why does he need such a massive house just for him and ex-wife Fergie to rattle around in?
Andrew’s involvement with the dead child-sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was bad enough — and resulted in his downfall.
But this goes further.
By allowing a Chinese spy inside royal residences like Windsor and Buckingham Palace he endangered the security of the whole Royal Family and the institution of the monarchy.
