MTA subway signs, seats, handles, and more are up for sale
NEW YORK (PIX11) – If you’ve ever wanted to own a piece of New York history now might be your chance.
The MTA will hold its Memorabilia and Collectibles Pop-Up Shop on Monday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2429 Stillwell Avenue in Brooklyn.
The agency will sell dozens of decommissioned subway station signs, red-and-white station exit globes, train car seats, and even defunct MetroCard reload machines.
This year marks the fourth annual pop-up shop hosted by the MTA with items from the agency’s surplus and used inventory.
Walk-ins are welcome but you may want to bring a truck because shipping options will not be available.
