I’m A Celeb reunion revealed as cast get back together for special show – and it’s just days away
AN I’m A Celebrity reunion is just days away with two unlikely members of this year’s cast coming together for a special show.
Amid rumours of a growing feud between the pair, The Sun can exclusively reveal that Melvin Odoom and Dean McCullough will be putting any differences aside for a brand new project.
The duo have called off their feud and will co-host the Radio 1 Breakfast show together[/caption]The duo, who clashed in the Aussie camp, will be hosting the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast show together on Monday in place of regular host Greg James.
Melvin and Dean will be spilling all on life together in the camp as they wake up the nation for the one-off show.
A source told The Sun how the duo have ended their bubbling feud and think hosting the show together is the perfect way for them to move forward and chat about their time Down Under.
The insider told us: “Melvin and Dean are completely cool with each other now – so much that they’re co-hosting the Radio 1 Breakfast Show together on Monday when Greg James is off.
“It’ll be a proper reunion – they’ll be telling stories from camp that weren’t featured on the show and they’ll be joined by some of their camp mates too.
“It’s a must-listen for I’m A Celeb fans.”
In the ITV reality show’s annual Coming Out show, Dean and Melvin decided to air their grievances with one another following their disagreements around the campfire.
The Radio 1 stars clashed during their time on the show with Melvin, 44, becoming frustrated when Dean “disappeared” when it was time for him to help.
Melvin even branded Dean “Houdini” and ranted to his fellow campmates: “This is a lone man situation, he’s very good at disappearing.”
In the show Dean confronts Melvin over comments he made in the Bush Telegraph.
He said: “I saw Bush Telegraphs of you saying, ‘Oh, it’s another chore to ask Dean to do the chores’.”
Melvin replied: “Me calling you Houdini was my way of telling you I need help.
“When we said, ‘Let’s do the water’, I came up the steps and you were having a shower, when I came down you were folding your clothes by the bed, by the time I said, ‘Houdini’ that was me saying, ‘I need help’.”
But Dean insisted Melvin should’ve taken him to the side and aired his frustrations.
How to listen
Dean and Melvin will be taking over from Greg James for a one-off show on BBC Radio 1. Fans that wish to tune in can hear them on the airwaves co-hosting the Radio 1 Breakfast show on BBC Radio 1 from 7am until 10:30am.
