THE LOWDOWN
The Hibees come into this one off the back of a 3-0 defeat to Celtic last time out. Despite the result, Gray said he was pleased with certain aspects of the performance – particularly the number of chances we created.
Before that, we had beat Motherwell 3-0 at Fir Park and drew 3-3 with Aberdeen, picking up four points from the last nine available.
Unfortunately, results elsewhere in the league meant we dropped to the bottom of the table – a point behind Hearts.
It is incredibly tight however, with the bottom five teams only separated by three points.
TEAM NEWS
Mykola Kuharevich was forced off in the first half due to a groin issue. The Club are awaiting results from a scan to determine the seriousness of his injury.
Gray will provide a full team news update, including the latest on Mykola when he speaks to the media on Friday afternoon.
Marvin Ekpiteta and Kieron Bowie remain longer-term absentees and will miss this one.
THE VISITORS
Ross County currently sit eighth in the league table, with 15 points from 16 games.
The majority of those points (12) have come at home. On their travels, The Staggies have picked up three points (all draws) and are the only team in the league not to win on the road.
Don Cowie’s side come into this one having played the Old Firm back-to-back, losing 5-0 to Celtic in Glasgow and 0-3 to Rangers last time out.
This is the second meeting between the teams this season – the first of which ended in a 0-0 draw in Dingwall in late-October.
