Sparkly jeans don’t just have to be for an evening out, they’re actually a lot more versatile than you think.
This pair from Reserved fit like a dream and are super-comfortable – I opted for a size up as I didn’t want them to be too tight, especially around the festive period.
While I have worn them for an evening out with a black top and sparkly bag, I’ve also worn them to the office.
This blue jumper from Zara really adds a pop of colour and goes nicely with the jeans.
With a pair of heeled boots and a tote bag, these jeans definitely add some fun to your look and you’ll get a lot of wear out of them.
Come the weekend, I’ll swap the boots for trainers for a more laidback look.

At Christmas time, more is definitely more when it comes to festive dressing, so you can really vamp up your “jeans and a nice top” by adding lots of texture and print!
These hand-embellished jeans from Next feel really designer, as they’re super-soft denim with a great barrel-leg cut.
I’ve added in an OTT leopard-print pussy-bow blouse, embellished boots, a beaded bag and a slick of red lippy for a festive look that feels put together without looking like I’m trying too hard!

This black pair of diamanté jeans from Mint Velvet add a subtle hint of sparkle without going too extra.
An all-black outfit always looks expensive and sleek, and throwing in a bit of sparkle makes the look festive.
I’ve added a velvet bow bag for an extra bit of glam, as well as some classic black court shoes that go with everything.
A silver cuff for some bling and a smart blazer thrown on top, and this outfit is perfect to wear to the office, as well as your Christmas party.

I never really embraced jazzy jeans until this year, and now I’m absolutely loving them.
I first spotted a pair by Self Portrait on Net-A-porter for £480, but these ones from Zara are similar and a fraction of the price.
Dressing up in winter can feel like a chore, especially when you’re trying to find an outfit that’s both party-appropriate and warm, but these jeans are the perfect solution!
I’ll be wearing mine on Christmas Day since I’m heading out of the house to a country pub for lunch and I want to feel a bit dressed up.
These jeans make a statement on their own, so I’ve styled them with a simple white vest top and this season’s must-have faux-fur jacket.
I’ve completed the look with a diamanté bag and slingbacks to add an extra touch of sparkle.
Christmas Fashion Tips from an Expert
CLEMMIE Fieldsend, Fashion Editor at Fabulous, has shared her top tips for looking fabulous this Christmas.
AVOID: Christmas jumpers
No longer a novelty gag, they’re now gone back to being naff and have no place at a festive party.
By all means, go all in for Christmas Jumper Day for Save The Children, but never wear it before or after that day.
WEAR: Burgundy
You can’t escape burgundy at this time of year and it’s a luxury, deep and rich colour that is a welcome break from Santa-red at Christmas.
Opt for silky textures or velvet for extra style points.
AVOID: PJs
The trend of feather trimmed co-ords has had its day and is so dated.
Don’t pull out your hair plucked pair this year, and don’t get a new set, instead still go for the satin two-piece but just steer clear of the plumes.
WEAR: Sequin Dress
Try to switch up sequins slightly by wearing them with a different texture or colour, eg a sequin skirt with a sleek knit.
But when you’re really stuck on what to wear reach for the sequins, it is Christmas after all.
AVOID: Sequin blazer
Nothing worse than showing up to a festive do looking like the hired entertainment.
Leave the sequin blazer to magicians and Strictly judges, instead always reach for a classic tux style or velvet.
WEAR: Bling trousers
Last party season embellished jeans with diamante bling had a moment, and this year they’re going to be as much of a hit.
If you don’t want gemstones pinging off wherever you go then try metallic, PU trousers.
