Girl, 12, shoved to the ground during robbery in the Bronx: NYPD
THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 12-year-old girl was attacked and robbed in the Bronx on Nov. 18, according to the NYPD.
She was walking near West Mount Eden Avenue and Macombs Road around 2:30 p.m. when a man on a bike approached her, police said. An argument broke out and the girl was shoved to the ground as her iPhone was being taken, according to authorities.
The man was accused of fleeing the scene going north on Macombs Road. The girl wasn't injured during the robbery, police said.
The suspect was last seen wearing a red Miami Heat sweater, black sweatpants, white sneakers and a black mask.
