Arrest made in November fatal east Columbus shooting
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCHM) -- A Columbus man is under arrest after being charged in the shooting death of a man on the east side of the city last month.
James Locke, 24, is charged with murder in the death of 44-year-old Robert "Roderick" Smith.
According to police, Smith was found shot sitting in a van parked in an apartment complex on the 2900 block of Dana Drive in the early morning of Nov. 16.
Columbus police said Locke was arrested while being held at Franklin County Jail on an unrelated case.
Locke is scheduled to appear in court on the murder charge on Thursday.
