Red Sox Announce Details For ‘Fenway Fest’ Fan Event Coming To Boston
The Boston Red Sox are throwing a winter party in their own backyard.
The club announced Monday that “Fenway Fest” — a daylong fan event — is coming to Fenway Park and the MGM Music Hall at Fenway on Saturday, Jan. 11.
This marks the first offseason fan event at Fenway Park since 2017. And it’ll feature special guest Greg Whiteley, the award-winning director of the upcoming Netflix docuseries about the 2024 Red Sox.
Whiteley will give fans a sneak peek at the series, with behind-the-scenes stories alongside Red Sox players, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
“In addition to the sneak peek, Fenway Fest will provide fans with their first opportunity to meet members of the 2025 team, coaching staff, and Red Sox alumni through photo and autograph sessions,” the team revealed in a press release Monday. “The event will include panels with players and coaches, and self-guided tours of iconic ballpark locations, including the Home and Visitor’s clubhouses, batting cages, and inside of the Left Field wall. Family activities such as face painting, a caricaturist, interactive games, and entertainment from Big League Brian will be available, as well as historic exhibits featuring Hall of Fame memorabilia and displays showcasing moments from Red Sox history.”
NESN and WEEI will broadcast live from “Fenway Fest,” and tickets are available now at redsox.com/fenwayfest.
