Tom Brady Gets Bill Belichick Flashbacks From Patriots Exit
Tom Brady jokingly took a shot at his former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick when he was ordered off the FOX Sports set during NFL Sunday.
Jay Glazer was in the middle of his “In or Out” segment when he stopped to kick Brady out of the studio.
“One more in and out,” Glazer said, per a video he posted on his social media page. “I gotta do everything around here. Tom. Tom Brady. Out. Let’s go. Out. Dude, you’ve got a Rams-Bills game. You know 10 miles here in LA is like five hours of traffic. Let’s go. Out.”
As Brady was walking out, he called Glazer a “bully.” Glazer responded by telling Brady he was just trying to be a friend.
The video posted on X, featured a caption from Glazer recalling the encounter.
“When @TomBrady calls you a BULLY but you’re just trying to be the friend of the year!!! lol,” Glazer wrote. “#rookiehazing #friendoftheyear #goat #lfg @NFLonFOX”
Of course, Brady couldn’t let the story be. The seven-time Super Bowl champion responded to Glazer with a witty comeback that saw Belichick catch the stray.
“Jay doing his best ‘Bill Belichick after the 2019 season’ impression,” Brady wrote with a smiling emoji.
Brady followed up his own post with an apology to Belichick, which actually joked about his exit from the Patriots.
“Kidding coach everyone knew I couldn’t resist the Florida sunshine,” Brady posted with three crying-laughing emojis.
