UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson ‘shot and killed’ outside New York City Hilton hotel in ‘targeted attack’
THE CEO of a multi-national healthcare corporation has been shot to death outside a New York City hotel, according to reports.
UnitedHealthcare exec Brian Thompson, 50, was reportedly killed in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday morning.

Witnesses told the Post that the suspect was a white man wearing a cream-colored jacket, black face mask, and black and white sneakers.
Witnesses said he was milled around the hotel entrance until Thompson arrived at the hotel at 6:45 am.
The suspect then reportedly opened fire and shot Thompson several times before bolting down an alley on a bike.
Pictures taken by the Post show a flurry of police activity outside the hotel early this morning.
The shooting took place just four blocks away from Rockefeller Center, where the well-trafficked Christmas tree lighting will be held in just hours.
Thompson has been with UnitedHealth for 20 years and has been CEO since 2021.
He was scheduled to speak at an investor conference held at the hotel on Wednesday.
