A POPULAR TV presenter has replaced under-fire Gregg Wallace on Inside the Factory as the BBC has confirmed a return date.
After recent controversy surrounding Gregg, Beeb producers have axed him and Paddy McGuinness has stepped into his shoes to front the show.
Paddy is well and truly into the festive spirit as he takes a behind-the-scenes look at the factory in Belgium that makes four million chocolate seashells daily.
He samples the confectionary and discovers the trade secrets of how hazelnuts are roasted with sugar to create a sweet praline filling.
While life has got sweeter for Paddy, things have increasingly been turning sour for Gregg who has been accused of numerous sleaze allegations and his inappropriate behaviour towards women.

The Sun told that Wallace was reported to BBC bosses after he was accused of taking his top off and boasting about his sex life to a woman on the show Impossible Celebrities in 2018.
But Gregg denied the allegations on Instagram saying “I hadn’t said anything sexual”.
The BBC says it does not tolerate “any form of inappropriate behaviour” and has “robust processes” in place.
But according to the Sun, Emma Kennedy reported Gregg Wallace’s ‘groping’ to BBC 12 years ago and said they knew then and known ever since.
The BBC now faces serious questions about why they took so long to act.
Another former contestant told The Sun how Gregg Wallace thrust his groin at her face three times as she crouched at an oven — in scenes edited out of the show.
Emma Phillips-Jennings, who was on the BBC cookery competition in 2009, said Wallace also made a crude sexual joke about meat.
Melanie Sykes also recalled alleged shocking moments when she was a contestant in the 2021 series of Celebrity MasterChef.
In her book, the mum-of-two said Wallace greeted her by asking whether models eat, which she felt was “unprofessional” and driven by “ignorance and disrespect with an extra helping of arrogance.”

Regular MasterChef host Gregg Wallace is currently the subject of a probe after an investigation was launched into his alleged misconduct over a number of years.
Gregg has been accused of making sexual remarks to 13 colleagues including Beeb anchor Kirsty Wark – accusations he denies.
The 60-year-old has now stepped away from the BBC show while historical misconduct allegations against him are investigated.
Yet the former greengrocer spoke out on social media to blast the “women of a certain age” who he claimed were behind the allegations.
The cooking show’s production company, Banijay UK, has said law firm Lewis Silkin would lead the investigation into Wallace’s alleged misconduct.
She also said the co-host was “barking orders” and the experience was “eye-opening”.
Other celebrities have spoken out about his treatment of them, and the BBC has decided to remove any programmes featuring Gregg.
Even on Inside The Factory, there were complaints about Gregg’s behaviour.
But now with Paddy as the host, viewers are looking forward to the new series.
