Oregon tops Ohio State as title favorite in final rankings before College Football Playoff field reveal
There may not have been any movement at the top of the penultimate College Football Playoff rankings on Tuesday night as Oregon remains No. 1, however the odds for who will win the 12-team tournament have significantly changed.
Following a home loss to Michigan, Ohio State is no longer the favorite to claim the national title this January. That honor now also belongs to the Ducks.
The Buckeyes were +275 at BetMGM a week ago. Ahead of Tuesday’s rankings, they were down to +450 — tied with Texas for the second-best odds — as Oregon’s line shortened from +400 to +350 to become the new favorite.

As for the teams on the playoff bubble, Alabama is now 2-1 to make the field while teams playing for a conference championship like Tulane (+320), UNLV (+300) and Iowa State (+220) seemingly need to win this weekend and get a little help.
