Who are Gregg Wallace’s ex-wives and how long was the former MasterChef host married to Christine, Denise & Heidi?
GREGG Wallace has become a familiar face on the box, thanks to his long career in television.
But fans may not know that the former MasterChef host has been married four times. Here we take a look at the lives of his former brides.
Gregg Wallace married his first wife Christine when he was just 24.
The pair wed in 1991, which he admitted in his autobiography that he knew was a “mistake” before they tied the knot.
Gregg jokingly called it “possibly the shortest marriage in the world” and revealed their quickie ceremony was followed by food in a pie and mash shop.
They were married for just six weeks.
Denise Lovall
Gregg tied the knot for the second time in 1999, when he wed pastry chef Denise Lovall.
During their relationship, they welcomed two children together, Tom and Libby.
They divorced in 2004, with allegations of cheating on his part.
Denise sadly died in 2017 following a battle with alcoholism.
You're Not Alone
EVERY 90 minutes in the UK a life is lost to suicide
It doesn’t discriminate, touching the lives of people in every corner of society – from the homeless and unemployed to builders and doctors, reality stars and footballers.
It’s the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes.
And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women.
Yet it’s rarely spoken of, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage unless we all stop and take notice, now.
That is why The Sun launched the You’re Not Alone campaign.
The aim is that by sharing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health, we can all do our bit to help save lives.
Let’s all vow to ask for help when we need it, and listen out for others… You’re Not Alone.
If you, or anyone you know, needs help dealing with mental health problems, the following organisations provide support:

Heidi Brown
Gregg wed Heidi Brown in 2011, but the marriage only lasted 14 months.
Reflecting on the experience of being married to the TV star, she told the Mail at the time of their split: “We each desperately wanted to be the person the other one wanted us to be.
“We should have both stuck up for ourselves a bit more. I wish him all the best and all the luck in the world.
“I hope he does meet someone who makes him feel happy and loves him for all he is. I can’t do that.”
In his autobiography, Gregg said the marriage was a ”huge mistake” and “probably the unhappiest I have ever been in my life”.
Married life
Gregg is now married to his fourth wife Anne-Marie Sterpini, who is 21 years his junior.
He admitted he was worried about the age gap, but said it has never bothered his wife.
Gregg explained: “People look at you anyway and I felt really conscious because she was younger, and I didn’t want people to judge her harshly.”
The couple got engaged in December 2014 and tied the knot at Hever Castle in Kent, in August 2016, with fellow MasterChef judge John Torode as Gregg’s best man.

In July 2022, Gregg revealed his son has nonverbal autism.
Speaking on Loose Women, he said: “Sid has autism. He’s three, you can’t legally diagnose it in this country until they are two-and-a-half, but we knew at about a year old that we had some issues.
“For us he wasn’t answering to his name, he wasn’t playing peek-a-boo.
“He was walking and running around but he’s got autism and he’s got something called global development delay.
“So he’s not speaking.”
However, on Mother’s Day 2024, Gregg revealed his son had said his first words.
