Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka’s Twins Harper & Gideon Are Almost as Tall as Them in This Rare Photo
Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka’s twins, Harper and Gideon, are not only already teenagers, but they’re almost as tall as their parents already. And it’s making us wonder, where has the time gone?!
On Nov 28, Harris shared a rare, gorgeous photo of his family of four. The How I Met Your Mother alum shared the rare photo with the caption reading, “Thanksgiving, 2024. So much to be thankful for in our lives: our health, our wisdom, our family. Our community. Our friends, our support systems. Our followers. It’s been quite the year, and Thanksgiving allows me time for not only reflection, but appreciation. And gratitude. And thanks.”
He added, “I hope you’re able to take a minute today and focus on what’s good, what’s working… and to thank those who work hard to make things better. Happy Thanksgiving. Xo, N ????❤️”
In the photo, we see the family of four looking as stylish as can be. While Harris and Burtka rocked caramel brown looks, their twins rocked darker, cozy black looks that were perfect for fall.
And along with being as stylish as their parents, they’re almost as tall as them. Seriously, when did this happen? Both we and fans remember when they were born, and now, they’re almost as tall as Harris, who’s 6’0, and Burtka, who’s 5’10.
For those who don’t know, Harris and Burtka have been together since April 2004, later marrying in Sept 2014 after being engaged since 2006. In October 2010, they welcomed twins named Gideon and Harper via surrogacy.
In a previous, super-rare interview with YahooLife in 2021, Harris talked about his approach to parenting. “I kind of approach parenting as a ‘let’s see how it goes’ attitude,” he said. “I think rigidity gets us into more trouble than being flexible. We have our rules and we have our edicts and boundaries, but if you’re super hardcore about things, it turns into more conflict than is necessary.”
