Live updates: Ohio State hosts Michigan in 120th edition of "The Game"
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- The regular season comes to a close with the traditional matchup of rival programs as Ohio State hosts Michigan for the 120th time.
The Buckeyes look to end a three-year losing skid against the Wolverines and earn their first win over the team up north at home since 2019. Ohio State, ranked No. 2 in the country, enters the contest with five consecutive wins, including two over top-five opponents.
Meanwhile, Michigan looks to play spoiler and hand Sherrone Moore his first win as the Wolverines' full-time head coach. Moore served as the acting head coach for last year's win over the Buckeyes in place of the suspended Jim Harbaugh.
A Scarlet & Gray win also solidifies its place in the Big Ten championship game against No. 1 Oregon on Dec. 7 in Indianapolis, a match that will likely determine the top-seed for the 12-team College Football Playoff.
