Burger food truck, vendor opens first central Ohio restaurant
WORTHINGTON, Ohio (WCMH) -- A central Ohio burger joint that began as a food truck before moving into Budd Dairy Food Hall has opened its first standalone location.
Stacked Burger Co. is now welcoming customers at 1089 Worthington Wood Boulevard. The joint marks the first brick-and-mortar location for the brand, which was previously called Alphabetical Comfort Kitchen and operated as a food truck before opening a Budd Dairy stall in 2021.
Boasting "big flavor made from scratch," the menu features several layered burgers, like the "Beer Gut Burger" which includes Beer Gut Chili, American cheese, fried Onion straw and a house dill pickle on a brioche bun. The Braisy Daze Burger includes beer raised brisket, caramelized onions, Tangy Jicama Slaw and garlic aioli also on a brioche bun.
Stacked Burger is also home to a few sandwiches, like the Chicken Stack Sandwich with breaded chicken thigh, dill pickle, garlic aioli and shredded lettuce on a brioche bun. A kids menu, a selection of sides and desserts round out the menu.
Stacked Burger is open 3 to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
