Dancing On Ice star star says MasterChef’s Gregg Wallace was ‘very forward and creepy with me’ before he quit show
DANCING On Ice star Katie Stainsby has branded Gregg Wallace “forward and creepy” following his exit from MasterChef.
The professional skater, 44, met Gregg several years ago at the Ideal Homes Show in London but claims it was not a positive experience.

Writing on X today, following news that Gregg has stepped down from MasterChef, Katie has recalled their meeting again.
It follows complaints from 13 people about historical allegations involving Gregg, including former Newsnight presenter Kirsty Wark. Gregg strongly denies all of the claims.
Katie posted a ‘vomiting emoji’ on the site, formerly known as Twitter, and told her followers: “#greggwallace I remember him well from the time he was at the ideal homes show at Christmas where I was performing!
“He was extremely forward and creepy!”
Katie’s pal replied: “As soon as I heard this I thought of you as I remember you mentioning it years ago.”
In response, Katie said: “Yep! It’s crazy how it catches up with them isn’t it!”
Katie is not the first celebrity to speak out today about the telly star either.
Comedienne Katy Brand broke her silence after a shocking clip from the 2013 series of Celebrity MasterChef emerged online.
Gregg can be seen telling Katy: “I’ll munch the living daylights out of your little tart.”
Katy, 45, said she had thought the remark was “crass”, and backed those who had made complaints about the star, adding that she was not one of them.
The Sun told how Gregg first landed himself in hot water with BBC bosses in 2018 for taking off his top and bragging about romps.
He was hauled into a meeting accused of making “inappropriate sexual comments” to a female staffer on BBC game show Impossible Celebrities.
Then in 2023, he was accused of being rude to women while working on BBC’s Inside The Factory.
Yesterday, Gregg stepped down from BBC cooking show MasterChef.
Thirteen people who worked with Gregg across a range of shows over a 17-year period have accused him of making sexual comments, the BBC has confirmed.
The broadcaster told how one feels strongly that the comments were “really, really in the wrong place”.
Times Radio presenter and 2017 Celebrity MasterChef contestant Aasmah Mir posted a cryptic message after the news broke, saying: “Always keep your receipts.”

BBC News confirmed they launched a probe into Gregg in the summer after claims were made regarding five shows between 2005 to 2022.
Gregg’s lawyers have branded the latest claims as false, but the MasterChef host has stepped away from the hit cooking series while a separate investigation is carried out.
MasterChef production company Banijay UK said complaints have been made this week in relation to “historical allegations” of misconduct while on the show.
The company has now launched its own “immediate, external review” into his so-called behaviour.
Recorded episodes of MasterChef: The Professionals featuring Gregg will still be shown as planned despite the development.
The company said: “While this review is underway, Gregg Wallace will be stepping away from his role on MasterChef and is committed to fully cooperating throughout the process.
“Banijay UK’s duty of care to staff is always a priority and our expectations regarding behaviour are made clear to both cast and crew on all productions, with multiple ways of raising concerns, including anonymously, clearly promoted on set.
“Whilst these are historical allegations, incidences brought to our attention where these expectations are not met, are thoroughly investigated and addressed appropriately.”
