Vernon Vipers Announce Signing of Forward Dennis Lominac
Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers are excited to welcome 2006-born forward Dennis Lominac to the team.
Head Coach Lukas Lomicky expressed his enthusiasm about the addition:
“Dennis is an interesting player as he has a high-end offensive toolset, but also brings grit and a willingness to play on the edge. We’re looking forward to having Dennis in our lineup to help offensively, and we know he’ll be the right fit for what we’re looking for.”
A native of Commerce Township, Michigan, Lominac showcased his talent during his 17-year-old season with the Sarnia Sting, appearing in 58 games. This year, the 5’9”, 173-pound left-shot forward split time between the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL and the Summerside Western Capitals of the MJAHL. His offensive prowess was on full display with Summerside, where he recorded an impressive 24 points in just 11 games.
Lominac is eager to make an impact in Vernon, saying:
“It’s a very exciting opportunity to continue developing as a person and a hockey player in Vernon. Especially with the NCAA rule change, I hope to earn a scholarship.”
Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Dennis and his family as they join the Vipers organization!
