‘World’s most expensive 4-car pile-up’ after 2 Ferraris, a McLaren & a Bentley worth £6MILLION all crash into each other
A SUPERCAR crash has been branded the world’s most expensive pile up – with an eye-watering combined cost of £6million.
The pricey prang occurred after one of the Ferrari drivers is believed to have panicked on a tight hairpin in Austria on November 10.

It took place near Pfunds, in Austria, on the dicey-looking country road 348 at around 2:40pm.
Initially, the driver of a Ferrari 812 Superfast, worth £446,514 alone, crashed into the back of a LaFerrari, worth £4million.
According to reports, the Ferrari Superfast, following the LaFerrari too closely, braked abruptly, after its driver panicked while navigating the risky bend.
Cops said he was blinded by the sun and slammed on the brakes while navigating the steep-sided road.
This caused a chain reaction that massively racked up the cost of the crash with each colliding motor.
After the two Ferraris crashed, a McLaren Elva worth £1.4million joined the growing queue.
Then, to top it off, a £191,545 Bentley Continental GTC crashed into the back of the McLaren.
It left all four flashy supercars sitting smashed by the rockface.
The LaFerrari hypercar appears to be crumpled and crushed in from both ends.
The 812 Superfast’s front end appears to be smashed as well, but the Bentley and McLaren aren’t as obviously damaged.
A police spokesperson said: “The driver of the third car was blinded by the sun from behind and braked.”
The police also said that none of the drivers were injured.
Authorities are investigating whether the drivers, aged between 40 and 52, and reportedly from the canton of Graubuenden, Switzerland, maintained adequate safety distances.
A photo of the crash, capturing all four luxury vehicles wedged against the rock face, surfaced on the social media platform Reddit, sparking a flurry of user comments.
OneReddit user said: “Photographic evidence that money can’t buy good sense!”
Another user commented: “This accident will cost more in repairs than I will make in my entire life. Absolutely insane.”
And one added: “You can’t park there.”
The McLaren then decided to join in on the fun[/caption] A Bentley Continental GTC was last to arrive to the gathering[/caption]
