Hollywood Christmas Parade – Supporting Marine Toys for Tots: The 92nd parade kicks off, 6 p.m. Dec. 1. Grand Marshal: Jeremy Renner, actor, musician and founder of the nonprofit RennerVation that helps children in foster care and at-risk youth. Los Angeles County Holiday Celebration – Dorothy Chandler Pavilion: The 65th annual event includes choir groups, dance performances and music from around the world, 3-6 p.m. Dec. 24. Free admission.
