ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- If you're wondering what is open or closed this Thanksgiving Day, it's quite a mix this year.
Government businesses like the post office will be closed for the holiday. Retail businesses like Walmart, Kohls, Macy's, Target, and Best Buy will be closed. Some local grocery stores will be open, but it varies.
Hannaford will be open until 3 p.m. while Whole Foods will be open until 1 p.m. Trader Joe's is closed.
Stewart's will be open with a slight change in hours based on location. As for pharmacies, check in with your local places as CVS will have many open but hours could be limited and the only Walgreens locations that are open are the 24-hour ones.
