Now, Polly has taken to her socials to share a clip from Gavin and Stacey, which reads: “Dawn is such an underrated character…”
Polly adds beneath the clip: “I am Dawn.”
In the video, Dawn can be heard saying: “You make me sick you pathetic lump of s***.”
Stacey replies: “You wanna come down Barry, they’re all like that.”
In the second part of the video, a man can be seen talking to Dawn in the street.
She responds: “Are you talking to me? That’s a first, you’ve barely looked at me all night you ignorant pig.”
It comes as fans speculated that Polly had struck up a romance with Kieran Chapman.
The pair appeared on the E4 show this year, but both of their marriages crumbled under the pressure of the show.
But their friendship seems to have been growing, with fans declaring they’ve “spotted clues” that they’re now an item.
In a new post to her Instagram Stories, Polly marked Kieran’s birthday with a loved up message, sharing a collection of smiley pics of them together at an event.
She wrote: “The happiest birthday to this one. Love you so much, forever thankful for you always making sure I stay level headed.
“Ur the best and I love ya. Have the best day.”
Mafs couples that have stood the test of time
Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.
The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.
Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.
Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.
Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”
Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.
Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.
“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.
“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’
“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”
Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.
Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.
They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.
Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
Kristina Goodsell, who “married” Kieran on the show, later also posted her own message, sharing a picture from their wedding day.
She simply wrote: “Happy birthday [Kieran] hope you’ve had the best day.”
Kieran and Kristina’s marriage when he admitted that he knew he would struggle with her premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) – an extreme health problem that effects mood, depression and anxiety in the weeks leading up to a period.
The Geordie said he feared he couldn’t give her the support she needs, which was flamed further from a past abusive relationship.
He also refused to kiss Kristina on the lips, blaming a cold sore, so was left devastated when he later jokily pecked Polly in front of everyone at a dinner.
Before exiting, he told Kristina: “I’m really sorry to put you in this position, Kristina, it was never my intention.
“I will always think the world of you. I just know that I cannot give you the best version of me.”
Meanwhile Polly’s relationship with Adam crashed out in spectacular style with the couple having a blazing row at a group dinner.
When Adam mocked what she was like in bed, Polly chucked a glass of red wine over him, with their split confirmed shortly afterwards.
Since the show ended, Kieran posted a photograph that showed him in Polly’s living room, and spending time with her dog, Peanut.
