Albany police deliver Thanksgiving meals to families in need
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany Police Department got into the Thanksgiving spirit on Wednesday by donating meals to local families need. This was the department's second year delivering meals.
Officers said it's not just about the food. It's about coming together as a community.
"This is just a simple act of kindness for helping those in our community in need, bringing families together for Thanksgiving," Officer Megan Craft said.
According to the department, officers were able to deliver 25 meals to Albany families.
