Blue Man Group to end shows in NYC, Chicago after 30-year run
MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – The Blue Man Group is ending performances in New York City and Chicago.
The iconic music performance, featuring silent, blue-painted bald men, debuted at the Astor Place Theatre in 1991.
The final New York show is on Feb. 2. Tickets are still available.
The Blue Man Group will still have shows in Las Vegas, Orlando, Boston and Berlin, along with a tour and a show on Norwegian Cruise Lines.
The show's directors cited declining ticket sales for its decision.
