Woman goes into labor after crash with NYCHA employee in NYC: sources
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A pregnant woman went into labor after a car crash with a NYCHA employee, sources told PIX11 News on Wednesday.
Tanisha Simpson, 40, was arrested in Brooklyn on Tuesday around 6:40 p.m. Simpson, a NYCHA employee, was accused of leaving the scene of a crash where she hit three cars, sources said.
The pregnant woman was a passenger in one of the vehicles, according to sources. She and her baby are OK, sources said.
Simpson was charged with reckless endangerment, assault, and leaving the scene of a collision, according to authorities.
It's not clear when and where the crash happened. Simpson was not drunk or high at the time, sources said.
