A few rain showers Wednesday
What We’re Tracking
- A few rain showers Wednesday
- Chilly Thanksgiving Day
- Few snow showers on Saturday
Cloud cover has moved in throughout the overnight hours, serving as a blanket. Temperatures warmer than yesterday with lows in the lower to middle 30s. Precipitation moves in from the west.
Our next storm system is expected to arrive today just before Thanksgiving, bringing a blast of even colder air for the holiday. Precipitation returns today, primarily in the form of rain showers. However, we cannot rule out the possibility of a few snowflakes on Wednesday. The amounts should remain scattered and on the low side.
Thanksgiving itself should remain mostly dry as of now, but temperatures will suffer as we struggle to even get out of the upper 30s. By Friday morning, low could drop into the upper teens, definitely a cold one for those planning on Black Friday shopping!
Another quick-passing system could bring a few snow showers to the area on Saturday. Right now, the best chance for that will over our northern and northeastern counties.
