The N&N in which we consider Nolan Arenado because we’re bored
Morning news and notes for Nov 27
A couple weeks ago, there was a report that Nolan Arenado was available. I thought “ha, that’d be interesting, but we don't need a third baseman.”
Also at this time, it was being widely considered that Josh Naylor would be traded. That no longer looks anywhere near certain, but I didn’t know that at the time, so I thought “well, maybe we can play Arenado at first, and have the world’s greatest ever defensive infield.” I didn’t post this anywhere because it was a far fetched thought.
But wait!

Imagine my shock when I saw this.
Anyways, still not gonna happen, because Nolan Arenado makes this thing known as “more than five million dollars.”
But we can still discuss it when nothing else is happening.
We still refuse to discuss Kozma tho. ...
Quincy and Nicole put out a podcast about the potential offseason moves the Guardians could make.
AAAAND NOW WE HAVE A LATE ADDITION TO THIS N&N:
Blake Snell signed with the Dodgers. Because of course. He will be paid $182 million over the next 5 years.
