And new images released by the theme park revealed some of the buildings that make up the landscape – with snow falling in Paris.
They said on social media: “First snow of the season️ means the first snow at the construction site of World of Frozen, opening in 2026 at Disneyland Paris.”
People raved about it online, with one saying: “This is so beautiful.”

A third wrote: “This is an actual dream.”
The new land will be based around a huge lake, where guests will be able to watch live water shows.
A Frozen Ever After boat ride will also be part of the land, similar to the one in Disney World, where guests can travel through Arendelle.
Along with the ride, there will be two shows and a restaurant serving themed snacks.
And of course the iconic characters of Elsa, Anna and Olaf will be available for meet and greets.
New Frozen-themed rooms will open at the theme park’s Disneyland Hotel, which reopened last year after a multi-million revamp.
For families who can’t wait until then, Disneyland Paris already has a number of Frozen character events.
This includes Frozen: A Musical Invitation show as well as the characters featuring in the parades and Mickey show.
And Disneyland Paris revealed other exciting park additions in the next few years at the D23 event as part of the €2billion (£1.7billion) renovation.

What is it like visiting Disneyland Paris?
The Sun’s Deputy Travel Editor Kara Godfrey recently visited Disneyland Paris on an adults-only trip.
“Without the kids , it meant we could avoid the long waits for character meets, skip the Disney dining and not worry about limiting wine.
“And having opted for the Premier Access Ultimate, I realised you can easily do both of the parks in one day, if you are savvy.
“My sister couldn’t quite stomach the 71kmph Hyperspace Mountain – but the pass meant I could hop on the ride and be back five minutes later.”
“And unique to Disneyland Paris is the champagne cart – it comes with a €20 price tag although you get to keep the souvenir cup.
“Or ‘yay no kids’ day ended on at the Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, a five-minute walk from the park gates with joyously late dinners at the Manhattan Restaurant followed by drinks at the Skyline Bar.”
