What local, chain restaurants are open in Topeka this Thanksgiving?
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Many restaurants in the capital city will be open on the Thanksgiving holiday.
KSNT 27 News reached out to numerous chain and local restaurants to see which will be open for customers to dine in on Thanksgiving Day on Nov. 28. If you're interested in some take-out on Thanksgiving or simply don't want to deal with the hassle of putting together a big meal for the holiday, check out the list of restaurants below:
Golden Corral
A Golden Corral employee told 27 News it will be open, but with fewer hours. The restaurant will be open to customers from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Golden Corral in Topeka is located at 1601 Southwest Wanamaker Road.
Culver's
Culver's will be open with its normal hours on Thanksgiving; from 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m., but if traffic is slow, the lobby might close after 8 p.m. and the drive-thru will remain open. Culver's is at 1035 Southwest Wanamaker Road.
Ling's Cafe Mongolian & Sushi Buffet
A Ling's Cafe employee told 27 News the restaurant will be open for its normal hours, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. It is located at 2022 Northwest Topeka Boulevard.
Cracker Barrel
Cracker Barrel in Topeka will be open from 7-a.m.-9 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The restaurant will not have its regular menu; it will offer a special Thanksgiving menu instead. An employee told 27 News breakfast will be served all day; starting at 11 a.m., a special Thanksgiving meal will be available, as well as four entrees: homestyle turkey, homestyle chicken fried steak, chicken and dumplings and meatloaf. Cracker Barrel is located at 1421 Southwest Ashworth Place.
Blackbird Espresso Bar and Bistro
Blackbird will be open its normal business hours, 6:30 a.m.-8 p.m. A Thanksgiving meal will be available for dine in or take out. It's located at 4025 Southwest 10th Avenue.
IHOP
An IHOP employee told 27 News it will be open on Thanksgiving; the restaurant is open 24/7 year-round. There are three IHOP locations in Topeka: 551 Southwest U.S. Highway 24, 1731 Southwest Wanamaker Road and 3001 Southwest Topeka Blvd.
Applebee's Grill + Bar
Applebee's in Topeka will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 4-10 p.m. It's located at 5928 Southwest 17th Street.
Closed
