Beaverton man allegedly struck grandpa with baseball bat, charged with attempted murder

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A Beaverton man was arrested for attempted murder after officials received reports that he had hit his grandfather with a baseball bat, deputies said.
Peter Stine, 26, faces charges of attempted murder, first-degree assault, and unlawful use of a weapon after his grandfather suffered “severe trauma to the head.”
The victim was transported from the home at 17000 NW Joscelyn St. to a local hospital. Authorities said he is expected to survive.
