Fortnite leaks suggest Baymax skin, Godzilla collab could be coming to Chapter 6 Season 1
FORTNITE’s Chapter 2 Remix season is now in its last week, so players are eager to learn what’s coming to the game in Chapter 6 Season 1.
Reliable leakers have shared online what appears to be the key art for next season’s Battle Pass, teasing upcoming content.
If confirmed to be authentic, it reveals the theme and some of the collaborations Fortnite could be having soon.
Reliable leaker ShiinaBR shared on Monday an image on Twitter/X via leakers ResetzFtw and SamLeakss of what’s alledgedly the next season’s Battle Pass key art.
In the shared image, players can see Godzilla in the background, as well as Baymax from Disney’s Big Hero 6 flying in his superhero form.
The leaked key art also shows the title of the next season in Portuguese, “Caçada”, which means “Hunt” or “Hunting” in English.
There’s also a kanji character next to the title, hinting at a Japanese theme for the season.
Earlier today, Epic Games posted a teaser on Twitter/X, revealing that the next season will be called Hunters.
The official social media post features the same logo with the kanji and other texts in Japanese, confirming its theme.
Epic Games has yet to announce any upcoming content for Chapter 6 Season 1, but the official teaser seems to confirm the leaked images are authentic.
Both Godzilla and Baymax would be a great fit for a Japanese-themed season, and the title featured in the leaked image is now official.
Godzilla is one of the most recognizable monsters, or kaiju, in media, and has been a Japanese pop culture icon since it first appeared in Ishirō Honda’s eponymous 1954 film.
Together with his fictional creator Tadashi Hamada, Baymax is the robot superhero from Disney’s Big Hero 6 movie based on Marvel’s comic books of the same name.
From the key art, it appears that Baymax would most likely be an unlockable skin based on what the character model looks like in the image.
All other characters that appear in the key art are also likely to be included as skins in the upcoming Battle Pass for Chapter 6 Season 1.
Godzilla, on the other hand, is shown as a massive presence in the background, suggesting the monster could be a boss on the Battle Royale map, dropping a Mythic weapon, for example.
All the details about what exactly is coming to Chapter 6 Season 1: Hunters are still pure speculation, so we have to wait for Epic Games to start showing us more teasers.
