EMMERDALE takes a dark turn as Tom King breaks into ex-wife Belle Dingle’s home and steals her belongings in a shocking and manipulative move.
After bravely exposing Tom King’s abusive behaviour to her family and the police, Belle Dingle sought safety from his manipulative grasp in Emmerdale.
Though Tom had claimed to move on with Amelia Spencer, Belle recognised it as a ploy to maintain control over her.
Despite reporting him, she remained on edge, knowing his continued presence in the village posed an ongoing threat to her well-being.
She was proven correct after tonight’s (Tuesday) episode as Tom finds a new way to mess with Belle’s head.
ITV viewers saw Tom quietly and secretly break into Belle’s home while she was in the shower.
After searching the room, he grabbed Belle’s top and slipped out unnoticed.
He later gifted it to his girlfriend, Amelia, who was thrilled with the surprise.
Viewers were left stunned by the scenes, as Tom’s manipulative game-playing took a darker turn.
Upcoming scenes will see Belle notice Amelia wearing her top.
She confronts her, demanding to know where it came from.
Amelia, completely unaware, insists it was a gift from Tom and believes it to be new.
Leyla Harding witnesses the tense exchange and sides with Amelia, interpreting Belle’s reaction as irrational and erratic, leaving Belle feeling further isolated.
Tom King actor James Chase told the press: “He knows he’s grinding her down when he knows she’s seen Amelia in her clothes.
“He always has a plan, trying to scare Belle, manipulating those he can. He’s got something up his sleeve because he has to if he wants to get out of this situation on top.
“It’s all about getting her in the worst state possible so he can selfishly benefit.”
