Person fatally struck by subway train in Brooklyn, lines delayed: MTA
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A person was fatally struck by a subway train in Brooklyn Monday evening, according to the FDNY.
The incident happened around 8:18 p.m. at the Clinton-Washington Avs station.
The individual was declared dead on the scene, according to the NYPD.
There are no C trains between W 4 St-Wash Sq and Euclid Av in both directions.
Southbound C trains are running on the express track from Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts to Broadway Junction, causing additional delays to southbound A trains.
Southbound C trains will also arrive on the lower level at Nostrand Ave. Commuters can take a northbound train for service to and from bypassed stations.
Police say no criminality is suspected.
