Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy Gets Candid About Her ‘Housewife Era’ & Family Planning: ‘Fingers Crossed'
Madison LeCroy is cherishing her current era while also looking to the future. In Nov. 2022, the Southern Charm star married her second husband, Brett Randle. Over the weekend, she gushed to Us Weekly about her marriage and what might be around the corner for the LeCroy-Randle household.
“I love [being married],” LeCroy said. “I mean, definitely being my second go-around, I would say I’ve gotten very lucky [with] a wonderful husband.”
“My housewife era is my favorite so far,” she added.
But apparently a new era might be on the horizon. At least, that’s what the lovebirds hope.
“My husband and I are trying to have a baby,” LeCroy said. “[We’re keeping] our fingers crossed.”
Aww! We’re so happy for the TV personalities and definitely have our fingers crossed too. What was extra sweet to hear is that LeCroy didn’t just consult her husband when it came to family planning. She also spoke with her 10-year-old son Hudson who she shares with ex-husband Josh Hughes.
“Just recently, he gave me permission to have a sibling,” Lecroy shared. “He said, ‘Mom, you can have a baby now.’ And I said, ‘Oh, OK. Thank you. I’ve been waiting on you to say that.’”
Around the time Lecroy and Randle got married, she opened up about her co-parenting relationship with Hughes as well as Randle’s relationship with Hudson.
“Josh and I see each other every week. We have joint custody. We are both very hands-on with our son,” LeCroy told Us Weekly in Oct. 2022. “My co-parenting started off rough but we both sucked it up and made it about Hudson, not us.”
“Brett and Josh get along better than I could ask for,” LeCroy added, likely knowing that introducing new partners can be a real growing pain for blended families.
“We are all being adults about the situation and whatever it takes to keep Hudson happy and loved,” she said. “Josh is happy for me because he can see how much Hudson cares for Brett.”
Earlier this month, LeCroy shared a precious carousel on Instagram with photos of her, Hudson, and Randle enjoying a football game at the University of South Carolina. Hudson looked so amped and ready for Game Day (and had the perfect hat to prove it!).
“Hudson looking like a whole teenager!! ????,” one follower commented.
The tween looked incredibly grown up and like he’s ready for a new era. We’re thinking it’s time for LeCroy to enter her Mom of 2 Era (while holding onto her favorite parts of her Housewife Era!) and for Hudson to start his Big Brother Era. Fingers crossed!
