The Anker Soundcore Space One headphones (available in jet black, latte cream, and sky blue) are reportedly very comfortable, with plush ear pads and a cushioned headband designed to stay easy on your ears, even during long listening sessions. And right now, they’re $69 (down from $99) for Black Friday—their lowest price ever.
Sound-wise, these headphones deliver a bass-forward experience with a rich, thumping low end that doesn’t drown out the mids and highs. That said, the default tuning does put the lows front and center. If that’s not your thing, the Soundcore app gives you plenty of room to adjust the EQ or try out the HearID feature that customizes audio to your preferences based on a hearing test. You can also switch between modes and fine-tune their settings in the app. And, for those mindful of hearing safety, the Safe Volume feature lets you set a decibel limit to protect your ears.
These headphones come with Bluetooth 5.3, multipoint pairing (letting you connect to two devices simultaneously), and Google Fast Pair, for convenient setup and switching between devices. Additionally, they offer LDAC support, which allows for high-resolution audio streaming on compatible Android devices—a rare find at this price point (according to this PCMag review) and a big plus for budget-conscious audiophiles. The noise cancellation on the Space One headphones handles low-frequency sounds, like engine hum, effectively, but it’s less successful with higher-frequency noises, such as chatter in a busy café. If top-tier noise cancellation is what you’re after, the refurbished Bose QuietComfort 45 at $199.99 might be a better option.
