Fixtures
- Hibernian Vs. Aberdeen - Tue, Nov 26th 2024, 19:45
It is a quick turnaround for the Hibees with our second game in four days, kick-off at 7:45pm on Tuesday 26 November.
David Gray’s side come into this one off the back of a bitterly disappointing 4-1 defeat to Dundee at the weekend. Despite taking an early lead, we were reduced to 10 men and our numerical disadvantage cost us at Dens Park.
That result means we stay bottom of the league table, with eight points from 13 games.
TEAM NEWS
With the quick turnaround between fixtures, Gray and his coaching staff will assess any bumps and bruises ahead of Tuesday night.
Jordan Obita is unavailable and will serve the first of his two-match suspension.
Marvin Ekpiteta missed our trip to Dundee with a thigh injury and unfortunately, this game will come too soon for him.
THE VISITORS
Aberdeen suffered their first defeat of the season at the weekend, losing 2-1 to St Mirren in Paisley.
Aside from that, it has been a near-flawless start from The Dons – winning ten of their first 12 league matches under new Manager, Jimmy Thelin.
That run of form has left Aberdeen second in the table on 31 points, three points behind league-leaders Celtic.
This will be the first meeting between the two teams this season.
