LAC vs BOS Watch Party on Playback!
Tony and Jackson will scout an Eastern Conference rival.
The Boston Celtics (14-3) look to defend their home floor against a rolling LA Clippers (11-7) squad tonight at 7:30 pm. Jackson Flickinger and Tony Pesta will watch the game live on Playback!
Kristaps Porzinigis is expected to make his season debut. The seven-foot sniper was pivotal to Boston’s title run last season. We'll see that Porzingis might need some time to ramp up, but he’s the missing piece that makes the Celtics nearly impossible to solve.
Meanwhile, the Clippers have been a surprise success story. After losing Paul George and the perpetual absence of Kawhi Leonard — LAC has rallied around a stout defensive team and a heliocentric offense, led by James Harden.
This matchup no longer holds the excitement of “potential NBA Finals Preview” it might have in recent years. Still, this is set to be an electric game between two of the best teams in the NBA through one month of play. We should be in store for a good show.
Injury Report
Boston: Al Horford (DOUBTFUL - illness), Luke Kornet (DOUBTFUL - illness), Kristaps Porzingis (PROBABLY - illness, surgery rehabilitation)
LA: Kawhi Leonard (OUT - knee injury), Norman Powell (OUT - hamstring), PJ Tucker (OUT 0 not with team), Mo Bamba (OUT - illness)
