Monday is the two-year anniversary of Samantha Humphrey's disappearance, a few months before her body was found in the Mohawk River, and her father is looking to find her killer. 1. Samantha Humphrey’s killer still on the loose two years later
A Schenectady father is facing a grim milestone and is broadening his mission to find his daughter’s killer. It’s been nearly two years since Samantha Humphrey disappeared. The teen’s body was found a few months later in the Mohawk River.
2. Deputies investigating Windham plane crash
There was a plane crash in Windham on Sunday at about 6:10 p.m. in a remote area. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office said a pilot and three dogs were on board.
3. 11 year search ends with private burial for Amanda King
After 11 years of searching, family members will lay Amanda King to rest in a private burial. On Sunday, King’s obituary was shared, detailing her legacy before her disappearance in the fall of 2013.
4. Café Hollywood occupancy certificate revoked after shooting
Albany Police are investigating an early-morning shooting on Lark Street. Mayor Kathy Sheehan said the bar and grill’s occupancy certificate was revoked late Sunday afternoon.
5. Vermont deputies investigate shooting in Wells
Deputies of the Rutland County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting at a home on Lamb Hill Road in Wells. Police said no one was injured, and the suspect shot into the house from a close distance.
