Decreasing cloud cover and chilly today
What We’re Tracking
- Clearing this afternoon
- Chilly heading into the holiday
- Slight chance for rain/snow showers during the midweek
Overcast this morning with temperatures down into the 30s with breezy conditions. Clouds will drift way on Monday, but chilly north wind at 15-25mph will continue to blow through the area. Highs will only top out in the lower to middle 40s.
Our next storm system is expected to arrive just before Thanksgiving, bringing a blast of even colder air for the holiday. Precipitation is possible to return by Wednesday evening, primarily in the form of rain showers. However, it's still too early to rule out the possibility of a few snowflakes on Wednesday. The amounts should remain scattered and on the low side.
Thanksgiving itself should remain mostly dry as of now, but temperatures will suffer as we struggle to even get out of the upper 30s. By Friday morning, low could drop into the upper teens, definitely a cold one for those planning on Black Friday shopping!
