I’m A Celeb’s Ant and Dec reveal TWO contestants are ruled out of tonight’s trials on medical grounds
I’M A Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec have revealed TWO contestants have been ruled out of tonight’s trials on medical grounds.
Tonight’s terrifying Bushtucker Trial will see one celebrity scaling a fake castle high up in the jungle canopy.
Ant and Dec told viewers not to vote for two contestants for the trial[/caption]To win food for camp, they’ll need to reach inside boxes on the climb and the windows of the castle, where stars will be hidden amongst creepy crawlies.
Last night, viewers were told at the beginning of the episode that they could not vote for two of the celebrites for the trial.
I’m A Celeb‘s Reverand Richard Coles and pop star Tulisa have been ruled out of taking part on medical grounds.
The duo didn’t share any further details, however The Sun revealed some of the stars may be passed over for heart-racing challenges on the ITV show.
N-Dubz singer Tulisa admitted to a having an intense fear of creepy crawlies.
In an interview with former Radio 1 DJ, Nick Grimshaw back in 2014, pop star Tulisa confessed that her bug phobia would prevent her from taking part in the show if the offer ever came.
She said: “Those rumours come up every year. I’m a musician. I’ve done TV but I’ve never really been a reality TV star and it’s not the route I’m looking to go down and when I do TV I want it to be connected to music.
“I couldn’t do it anyway, I wouldn’t last five minutes.
“I can’t even handle a spider in my bath tub. I’m scared of the dark and I’ve got ultimate epic bug phobia.”
Tulisa, 36, also had cosmetic surgery after being diagnosed with a health condition, which causes paralysis on one side of the face.
Online trolls have made horrid jibes about the way she looks since she went into the jungle, sparking a backlash from her pals.
Her bandmate and ex-boyfriend Fazer, 37, who has known Tulisa since their teens and briefly dated her, said: “It was heartbreaking to see.
“At one point, T won FHM’s Sexiest Woman. You’ve got to think, from that to having Bell’s palsy and trying to fix it . . . it’s a lot for any female.
“That’s why I feel like the public should be behind T and say, ‘You know what, she’s one of our own, and she’s been through it’.”
Rev Richard has also had life changing surgery that could mean some trials are out of his physical reach.
The former vicar underwent spinal surgery only a year ago and was in excrutiating pain following the op.
Sharing a photo from his hospital bed following the operation, Richard, 62, wrote: “Well I totally get the thing Michael Jackson had for Propofol,” he joked in a nod to the King of Pop’s reliance on powerful medication prior to his death.
STARS RULED OUT
Earlier this month The Sun exclusively reported that Coleen Rooney could miss a series of trials due to a secret medical condition that will prevent her from participating.
The 38-year-old wife of former England striker Wayne has painful reactive arthritis, which affects the joints and is set off by stress.
Last year, I’m A Celeb risked the wrath of viewers when three stars were ruled out of taking part in the trials, sparking a fix row.
