'Are you trying to kill us?' MAGA voters complain about Trump's 'depressing' nominees
Some of Donald Trump's most loyal supporters aren't forgetting how upset they are about two key nominees for his upcoming presidential administration.
Trump said on Friday that he had chosen Dr. Janette Nesheiwat, a physician and Fox News medical contributor, as his surgeon general. Raw Story reported the following day that some of the former and incoming president's biggest fans were not happy about it.
"Dear President Trump, many of us…MANY of us are very disheartened and upset about this pick -this doctor has been a major advocate for pushing Covid vaccines upon people which are being proven cause much harm," one Trump-supporting Truth Social user wrote in response to Trump's announcement. "She also was a big advocate of masking and other terrible Covid policies please don’t let this happen! Sincerely -your base."

That sentiment is lingering, and continuing to haunt the president-elect as he tries to talk about other things.
On Sunday, Trump posted an advertisement for his book, Save America, but numerous commenters spoke out against the choice for surgeon general, and another key nominee.
"Now it’s time to SAVE AMERICA! Only one Book captures the magic we had, and will soon have again," Trump wrote. "Get my newest book — SAVE AMERICA!"
One user, identified as @thompmark78, posts exclusively pro-Trump content on Truth Social. But on Sunday, he spoke out against Trump's top doctor pick.
"President Trump you need the current Surgeon General of Florida as the USA Surgeon General not the globalist pro deep state lady you nominated," the user wrote.
A user with "Patriot. America First" in their bio also shares Trump content to Truth Social. They responded to the ad with the following comment:
"Bad pick for surgeon general. Are you trying to kill us all with jabs? Tell her to get lost."
@Dbn281977, another user who frequently shares Trump's content on the social media site and celebrated Trump's electoral victory, spoke out against Trump's pick for Attorney General, Pam Bondi, saying, "We cannot have an anti second amendment attorney general."
"Trump please do not put this communist in office," the user added.
Another user, who posts in favor of Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and is identified as @Omi17, had a similar take.
"PLEASE change Pam Bondi your new attorney general she is super anti-gun she has a horrible history being anti-gun that’s all she focuses on RINO and there’s a bunch of compromised pictures of her and BAD history, there’s have to be someone else this is very depressing!!!" the user wrote Sunday.
A self-proclaimed Trump voter identified as @lutherbh1 complained about another aspect of Trump's transition.
"What has happened to JD Vance? He's nowhere to be seen or heard. Doesn't seem right since he is part of the winning team...Trump/Vance. He did a great deal toward winning the White House. It appears (as being reported on various new sources) that he is being pushed aside because of Musk," the user wrote. "Musk is fantastic and I'm really glad he is included in the new administration, but JD Vance is our VP Elect and potentially (in 4 yrs) our president. So again, where is JD Vance?"
