Love Island’s most bitter feud confirmed as Whitney admits she’s only friends with ONE person from her series
LOVE Island star Whitney Adebayo has opened up about her failed friendships with her former best friends in the villa.
The stunning star was seen in a TikTok ‘Suspect Challenge’ video alongside co-star Scott van-der-Sluis and confirmed her crumbled relationships with her Love Island 2023 co-stars.
The footage was labelled ‘Besties that humble each other’ and featured the duo fooling around in the social media video.
Roasting each other, the Welsh professional goalkeeper poked: “Suspect thinks she’s popular but I’m her only friend from Love Island.”
Whitney, who is still in a relationship with her villa flame Lochan Nowacki, 25, confirmed the statement and corrected: “And Lochan.”
Whitney had been very close to fellow contestants Catherine Agbaje and Ella Thomas on the ITV2 dating show.
The wig entrepreneur and her account manager boyfriend’s relationship has been going strong since they left the villa in second place.
During a Q&A with fans last year, Whitney admitted: “Yeah [I did make lifelong friends in the villa]. I see one or two probably lasting the long-run.”
In December 2023, Ella appeared on The Zeze Millz Show and spoke about her dwindling friendship with Whitney.
“How are you and Whitney now? Are you guys cool?” Zeze asked.
Ella replied: “Yeah cool, no issue, but we’re not as close as we were in the villa.”
Ella previously hit back at Whitney after being accused of bullying her.
The Love Island beauties became pals during their time on series 10 of the show but things have taken a drastic turn.
It comes after Whitney candidly opened up on the fallout with sister Lizzy on her What’s It Giving? podcast.
She said: “This whole Ella thing I couldn’t even pinpoint where it all went wrong but it’s gone wrong anyways.
“I haven’t seen her in ages. We have never argued or anything it’s just been her weirdo stans online. But in real life nothing actually happened.”
Whitney then shared how she attended a recent event where she saw the Scottish model but felt ignored as Ella greeted everyone except her.
She claimed: “It was an attempt, I would say, to bully me. But I can’t be bullied, please. I’m not a victim so I don’t want no pity party.”
Whitney then detailed how she went to an event and saw the Scottish model in a more “intimate” setting.
She recalled: “She [Ella] came in, she was literally saying hello to everyone and ignored me.”
The Sun previously flagged a feud between the two after eagle-eyed fans spotted the girls no longer followed each other on Instagram.
On-screen, the pair had explosive rows where Whitney branded Ella the “most selfish person” she’d ever met.
