“But my wife is Spanish and she gave me about seven years here, so we’re going to spend some years in Madrid with her family,” Richard continued, adding that he will be returning to America.
“Our kids are bilingual so they’re going to flourish there,” he added.
Richard and Alejandra, 41, have been married since 2018 and share sons Alexander, 5, and James, 4. Richard is also dad to 24-year-old son Homer while Alejandra has an 11-year-old son named Albert.
Also in his interview, Richard talked about celebrating the holidays in Madrid.
“My wife grew up in a big Spanish family, like a big Italian family, and her grandmother was kind of the glue that held that all together,” Richard shared. “And the grandmother passed away [about] two years ago, so my wife, I can see her morphing into the new grandmother of this extended family. So she’s already planning for 35 people for Sunday lunches.”
In October, the New York Post reported that Richard sold his home in Connecticut for $10.75 million.
It was recently reported that this famous comedian has left the United States and moved to England.
