A warming trend for this weekend before Monday's cold front
What We’re Tracking
- Nice weekend ahead
- Cooling off start of week
- Slightly below seasonable temperatures
Temperatures for tonight will fall back into the lower 30s. We will remain mostly clear tonight and winds remain calm from the northwest. You will want the coat if you are heading out tonight.
A gradual warming trend for the weekend. Winds will remain from the south helping to bring in a bit of warmer air. Saturday should top out in the upper 50s and by Sunday, some low 60s look to return. This all before yet another cold front moves in heading into Monday.
It's possible a stray shower or two moves through Monday although most stay dry. The colder air will force our temperatures into the low 40s for highs and we'll struggle in those 40s through much of next week.
Our next storm system is expected to arrive just before Thanksgiving, bringing a blast of even colder air for the holiday. Precipitation is likely to return by Wednesday, primarily in the form of rain showers. However, it's still too early to rule out the possibility of a few snowflakes on Wednesday. Thanksgiving itself should remain mostly dry as of now, but temperatures will suffer as we struggle to even get out of the upper 30s.
