Man City vs Tottenham – Pascal Chimbonda Premier League prediction
Tottenham Hotspur face an away trip to the Etihad this weekend to take on Man City, and they will be without first-choice centre-back pair, Cristian Romero and Micky Van de Ven.
Manchester City vs Tottenham at the Etihad
Spurs generally have a pretty good record against Man City in all competitions – albeit with most of their best results coming at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Lilywhites also find the Citizens in some rare poor form, with four defeats in a row for Pep Guardiola and his reigning champions. Unfortunately, Spurs are in some patchy form of their own.
Spurs are currently tenth in the Premier League table, seven points behind Man City in second. However, such is the strange 2024/25 campaign, one win could hoist Tottenham back into the top-four race.
A shock defeat last time out against Ipswich Town will do little for the confidence of Tottenham fans around the world, especially with Romero and Van de Ven missing for the clash against Erling Haaland.
Man City vs Tottenham score prediction
Pascal Chimbonda thinks Tottenham will earn a point at the Etihad, while we feel that the absence of Cristian Romero and Micky Van de Ven will just be too much for the Lilywhites to handle.
