Trump selling $11,000 signed MAGA guitars
President-elect Trump is aiming to strike a chord with consumers with his latest business venture — selling signed "Make America Great Again" guitars for as much as $11,000.
In a photo posted Wednesday on Truth Social, Trump hawked a "limited edition '45' guitar" sold on the website GetTrumpGuitars.com.
"Only 1,300 each Acoustic and Electric Guitars MADE — Some personally signed!" the social media post said.
An accompanying photograph showed the ex-commander in chief grinning broadly while holding an electric guitar that featured his campaign slogan, "Make America Great Again," on the fretboard and an image of an eagle and American flag on the body.
The sales site for the $11,000 electric guitars tells customers that pricing is "subject to change based on availability."
"Only 275 of these beautiful guitars will be signed, with 125 currently available for shipping," the site said.
An acoustic version of the guitars bearing Trump's signature are being sold on the site for $10,250, while non-autographed instruments run $1,500.
All of the guitars, according to the sales page, were "custom designed and developed by a Veteran owned company with the help of a master luthier."
"These guitars have been manufactured by multiple providers and include parts/features that are both domestic and international. This is standard with most guitar manufacturers."
Trump, 78, isn't known to play a musical instrument — but he's boasted about his ability to attract throngs of supporters without relying on any skills on a six-string.
"Nobody can draw crowds like me — nobody — not even close," Trump told a crowd at a New York campaign rally in September.
"I'm the greatest of all time, maybe greater even than Elvis [Presley.] Because Elvis had a guitar. I don't have a guitar. Elvis had a guitar. I don't have the privilege of a guitar," Trump said.
The former New York real estate developer has put his name on a profusion of products in recent years, including sneakers, Bibles, books and watches.
